You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using Duojar, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Duojar is a personal finance management tool that helps individuals and couples track transactions, categories, goals, and related financial information. The Service may include optional features such as shared household workspaces and paid lifetime access to premium features.

Not financial advice. Duojar is an informational and organizational tool only. We do not provide investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for financial decisions you make.

You may register with an email and password or through Google sign-in. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@duojar.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

If you invite others to a shared household context, you are responsible for ensuring they are authorized to view the financial information you share within that workspace.

Premium features are available to every new user through a 7-day free trial at no charge. During the trial, you may use the full premium experience without entering payment details. When the trial ends, premium access ends unless you choose to purchase lifetime access.

Lifetime access is a one-time payment with no recurring subscriptions at this time. When you complete a purchase, you receive ongoing access to premium features for as long as the Service remains available, subject to these Terms. Payments are processed by Razorpay; by purchasing, you also agree to applicable Razorpay terms.

Pricing and included features are described at checkout or on our website. If we introduce subscriptions or other pricing models in the future, we will update these Terms and our related policy pages accordingly. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service
• Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights
• Misrepresent your identity or share account access in a way that violates these Terms

We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of your account.

You retain ownership of the financial and personal information you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sharing data within shared contexts you configure and with service providers described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to submit the data you enter, including any data relating to joint or household finances shared with invited members.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google (authentication), Razorpay (payments), email delivery, and analytics. Your use of those integrations may be subject to separate third-party terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Duojar and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service as intended.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Duojar AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Duojar from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting hello@duojar.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, if continued provision poses a security or legal risk, or if your account has been inactive for an extended period. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the city of your registered business address as stated below, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
